Heat Sheets Available: after 8:00 pm Friday 6/2
Western Oaks pool will open at 6:15 AM. The swim meet will begin promptly at 8:00 AM. There will not be any deck entries or last-minute changes to heat sheets. We will only make corrections if there has been a computer entry error that needs to be corrected.
VOLUNTEER MEETINGS
The volunteer shift change will take place after Event #38 (Men's 13-18 Freestyle Relay) and Event #39 (Girls 6 under Freestyle). The shift change will be announced at the volunteer meetings as well as during the swim meet. Please note the times/locations for volunteer meetings. See below for information on where volunteers meet before the swim meet.
Volunteer Meetings: On-deck meetings at 7:30 AM
- Timers & Runners: Meet under the canopy near the restrooms
- Stroke and Turn Judges, Scribes, DQ runners: Meet at the 11 and up Ready Bench near the computer table.
- Ready Bench: Meet at the 10 and Under Ready Bench under the large shade structure on the East end of the pool, opposite end of the pool from the restrooms
- Awards/Ribbons: Meet at the computer table
CONCESSIONS
VISITING GROUP AREAS (Zoos)
Please see attached map for the location. To avoid damaging the irrigation system, Please DO NOT USE STAKES to tether canopies. If needed, please use weights, coolers, a sleepy teenager, etc. instead.
PARKING
Parking is on the street within the neighborhood. Please be kind to our neighbors and do not block driveways. Beware of fire hydrants and marked crosswalks as some vehicles have been ticketed in the past.
DIRECTIONS
The pool is located at 5001 Woodcreek Blvd. Austin,TX 78749. Our pool has 5 lanes, is 25 yards long and 3.5 feet deep on the shallow end.
MEET THEME: Dolphin coaches have decreed that theme this week will be "Tutus and Tiaras"
COACHES AND PARENTS RELAY: If time allows, there will be a coaches and parent relay during the 10 min scheduled break for volunteer shift change. Please visit the DJ's table to sign up.
