Concessions: Join us at the Shark Shack for breakfast and lunch. Beginning around 8:00 we'll begin serving a variety of breakfast tacos (and a full salsa bar), P. Terry's banana bread, donuts and pastries, (free) fruit, two selections of coffee (Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts), and assorted juices. A bit later in the morning, we'll serve sausage wraps (regular and jalapeno). Lunch begins around 10:00 with Frito Pie, hot dogs (including loaded dogs with chili and all the fixings), Double Dave's pizza slices, bbq brisket nachos, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, Beyond burgers and fully-loaded Italian meatball subs. We'll have assorted frozen treats and brownies for dessert along with a variety of other snacks and drinks. We accept cash or credit cards.
Raffle: We'll have a (free) raffle around 10 AM with bunches of great prizes. Every swim family attending will get 5 free tickets. Pick them up on the morning of the meet next to the Shark Shack. Anyone attending the meet will also get a raffle ticket for every $2.50 spent (per visit) at the Shack (until about 10 minutes before the raffle drawing).
Heat sheets: Heat sheets will be available on Friday evenings after 8:00 pm. You'll be notified by email so you can download and print a copy. For those new to the team, the heat sheets will show you all the events that the kids will swim from free-style to butterfly as well as he relays and all of the heats for each event – you will want to have a copy of this sheet so you will know what event, heat and lane your child will be swimming – there will not be extra copies at the meet, so you must bring your own or look over someone’s shoulder.
Swimmer Check-in: All swimmers should check-in with their Age-Group Parents
Volunteer Check-in: The home meet volunteer check-in table will be located under the HT building next to the bathrooms, next to the awards table. All volunteers need to check in at the volunteer table and pick up their name tag. As you know – running a meet is 100% volunteer, so we need everyone to fulfill their volunteer commitment.
Parking: Parking is limited. Please be good to our neighbors and do not block driveways. Also, remember to not park in crosswalks, intersections, or near fire hydrants as APD has ticketed in the past.
Coach/Parent Relay: If time allows, there will be a parent/coach relay during the break. Bring your suit!
